CEN-MCH™ MicroTCA Carrier Hub
The CorEdge Networks MicroTCA Carrier Hub (CEN-MCH™) provides the central management, network  connectivity, and clocking for MicroTCA systems. It supports up to twelve Advanced Mezzanine Cards (AMCs), two Cooling Units (CUs), up to four Power Modules (PMs), and a redundant MCH. The scalable and flexible architecture of the CEN-MCH™ makes it an ideal solution for any type of MicroTCA application including 3G wireless equipment, WiMAX base stations, embedded computing systems, etc.

  • GPS – 1PPS, 30.72MHz, & 100MHz clock sources
  • Telco – 8KHz, 19.44Mhz clock sources w/ Stratum 3 holdover
  • PCI – 100MHz clock source & SAS/SATA cross point switch

Robust Carrier Management Controller (MCMC)

  • Compliant MCMC with full support for E-Keying, redundancy, hot insertion/extraction, etc.
  • Radial IPMI support to local AMCs (up to 12)
  • Redundant bus support to CUs, PMs, and MCHs
  • Full IPMI LAN and RMCP support to System Mgr
