Clock Modules for the CEN-MCH™
The CorEdge Networks’ MicroTCA Carrier Hub’s (CEN-MCH ™) modular architecture allows for multiple clock options. The base module of the MCH provides IPMI management and GbE networking. A clock module can be added to radially distribute clocks to up to 12 AMCs. A third card option enables different types of fabrics in the “fat pipe” region of the backplane. CorEdge Networks offers PCI Express, GPS and Telco clock module options. In addition, custom clock modules are also possible through partnerships with CorEdge. Each module can be seamlessly installed on the base MCH card, providing maximum flexibility. With these clock modules, the CEN-MCH™ is an ideal solution for WiMAX base stations, VoIP gateways, imaging systems, test and measurement equipment, and 3G/4G wireless platforms.

Telco Clock Module

  • Two programmable timing sources
    • 8KHz framing clock
    • 19.44MHz synchronization clock
  • Stratum 4 holdover (Stratum 3 Optionally)

PCI Express Clock Module

  • 100MHz PCI-E Fabric clock
  • SATA/SAS cross point switch on module
